Defensive Cybersecurity

SOC as a Service

Your tools. Our vigilance. One subscription.

A security operations center without the build. eFellows analysts monitor, triage, and investigate around the clock on top of the security stack you already own: no new SIEM to buy, no rip-and-replace, no data leaving your tenant. AI agents handle the volume, our engineers handle the judgment, and everything runs under one predictable monthly fee.

How it works

Run inside your tenant

Sources in your estate feed the SIEM and detection stack you already license. eFellows analysts triage, enrich, and investigate inside your tenant; response actions follow your approval rules.

Sources, triage, approval

No data leaves your tenant
01 Your estate the stack you already own
Endpoint endpoint telemetry
Identity identity telemetry
Perimeter perimeter telemetry
Your SIEM and detection stack Your existing security platform, with supported sources agreed for the engagement
Access boundary Least-privilege, audited access: the service operates your platform inside your tenant.
02 eFellows SOC agentic triage, analyst judgment
Receive and triage alerts from your security stack, prioritized for investigation
Enrich and investigate cross-system context, indicators checked, threat intelligence correlated
Propose a verdict evidence attached: close with a reason or escalate as an incident

Every agent action is logged, attributable, and auditable. Analysts open a solved case, not a raw alert.

Approval boundary Human-approved response: containment stays human, and response actions on your environment follow your approval rules.
03 Response and records records stay throughout the service
Approved response incidents driven to closure through our incident response platform
Containment coordination and post-incident reporting
Record retained in your tenant telemetry, alerts, and incident records stay where they are
Triage runs at high agent autonomy. Investigation is agent-driven and supervised. Response is human-approved.
Illustrative: the diagram shows the service model described on this page, not a specific deployment. The platform, the data, the detections, the playbooks, and the documentation stay yours; the exit is designed in from the start.
Who it is for
Two situations we see every week.

You own good security tools and they are underused.

01
The SIEM is licensed, the EDR is deployed, and the alert queue is nobody's job. Detections were configured once and never tuned. Real incidents hide in noise that nobody has time to clear.

You cannot hire a SOC

02
Building one in-house means eight to twelve specialists across shifts, twelve to eighteen months to maturity, and permanent churn. Most organizations that need 24/7 detection and response cannot justify that, and should not have to.

Built on what you already own.

Vendor-agnostic by design. Microsoft Sentinel and Defender, Fortinet, Wazuh, or whatever your estate runs: we operate your platform rather than replacing it. Your licenses keep earning their money, and all security data stays inside your own tenant.

Managed response, not notifications.

Alerts are triaged by analysts and driven to closure under an agreed severity model, so what reaches you is a resolved incident rather than a forwarded alert.

No lock-in, ever.

The platform, the data, the detections, the playbooks, and the documentation are yours. If the engagement ends, everything stays with you, fully operational.
Three things that matter
What the service includes

A working SOC, from week one.

Security monitoring and triage.

Continuous monitoring of your SIEM and detection stack. Every alert triaged, correlated, and either closed with a reason or escalated as an incident, under the agreed severity model and response targets.

Managed detection and response.

Incidents driven to closure through our incident response platform (eIR): investigation, containment coordination, and post-incident reporting. Response actions on your environment follow your approval rules.

Continuous detection engineering.

A curated baseline of analytics rules mapped to MITRE ATT&CK, tuned to your environment, and improved every month. New log sources onboarded through a lightweight change process. Automation playbooks for enrichment, containment, and notification.

Security posture management.

Continuous tracking against security benchmarks (Microsoft Secure Score where the estate is Microsoft), with concrete improvement actions delivered each month, so your posture rises over time instead of decaying.

SIEM cost optimization.

Ingestion tuning, log tiering, and retention and commitment-tier management. In most environments this cuts the monthly platform bill by enough to offset part of the service fee.

Reporting you can act on.

Weekly operational reports and quarterly reviews, each tracking explicitly against the agreed service goals.
The AI layer
Machine-speed triage.
Human-controlled response.
Alert volumes have outgrown human triage, and AI-enabled attackers iterate faster than playbooks update. Our SOC runs agentic triage on top of your stack: agents enrich every alert with cross-system context, extract and check indicators, correlate against threat intelligence, and propose a verdict with the evidence attached. Analysts open a solved case, not a raw alert.
The autonomy line is explicit and it is yours to set. Triage runs at high agent autonomy. Investigation is agent-driven and supervised. Response is human-approved. Containment stays human. Every agent action is logged, attributable, and auditable.

In-house SOC vs SOC as a Service

In-house SOC
eFellows SOC as a Service

Initial setup

In-house SOC
High: infrastructure, tooling, and staffing before any value
eFellows SOC as a Service
None: the service builds on the platform you already license

Operational cost

In-house SOC
Salaries, shift premiums, training, and benefits for 8 to 12 specialists
eFellows SOC as a Service
One predictable subscription, scaled to the estate

Time to value

In-house SOC
12 to 18 months of hiring, integration, and tuning
eFellows SOC as a Service
Live monitoring in weeks, mature processes from day one

Expertise

In-house SOC
A small team wears every hat; hard to hire, harder to retain
eFellows SOC as a Service
Tiered specialists across triage, response, hunting, and engineering

Coverage

In-house SOC
Nights, weekends, and holidays thin or on-call
eFellows SOC as a Service
Continuous monitoring with analyst response under agreed service levels

Scalability

In-house SOC
Scaling up means significant new investment
eFellows SOC as a Service
New log sources and effort added through a lightweight change process
Attackers do not keep business hours. Ransomware is timed for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Onboarding
Weeks, not quarters.
Delivery follows a phased plan of roughly eight weeks. Priority telemetry (endpoints, identity, perimeter) comes under production monitoring around week four;

Example onboarding plan

Two rollout milestones

A phased rollout brings priority telemetry under monitoring before the full transition to managed operations. The example below comes from a proposed eight-week delivery plan.

Phased delivery

Illustrative timing
01 / Around week 4
Priority telemetry monitored Endpoints, identity, and perimeter under production monitoring.
02 / Around week 8
Steady-state operations Full transition to managed operations.
Onboarding is included in the service. Detection engineering continues, with rules tuned to your environment and improved monthly.
The week-four and week-eight milestones illustrate one proposed plan, not a standard delivery commitment. Timing and scope need to be confirmed for the engagement.
Pricing model

One fee. No meters.

A single all-inclusive monthly fee covering onboarding, monitoring, response, detection engineering, posture management, and reporting. No setup charge. No per-gigabyte, per-event, or per-user charges from eFellows. Platform consumption (your SIEM vendor's bill) stays yours, and we actively drive it down.
Talk to a security engineer

Does our data leave our environment?

No. The service operates your platform inside your tenant, with least-privilege, audited access for our analysts. Telemetry, alerts, and incident records stay where they are.

We already have security tools.

Good: that is the prerequisite, not a problem. The service adds the missing layer (people, process, and continuous engineering) on top of the investment you already made.

What happens if we leave?

Everything stays: platform, data, detections, playbooks, documentation. The exit is designed in from the start, because we have no interest in artificial lock-in.

Will AI close incidents on its own?

Only what you allow. The autonomy line is set by your policy, response is human-approved, and every agent action is on the audit trail.

Do you replace our IT or security staff?

No. We are the second level and the escalation point. Your team keeps ownership and grows alongside the service: shared operations, documented playbooks, regular reviews, and training are part of the scope.
Tell us what you run and we will tell you what the service looks like on top of it, within a week.
